1 – General
We aim to excel in the quality of our meats and the service we provide.
By shopping with us online you can expect the same high standards as experienced by our visiting customers.
All our goods and services comply with all the standards required by relevant legislation. When shopping with us online, a contract of sale is made at the time we confirm your order, and the contract shall be under English law.
By placing your order you accept these terms and conditions.
2 – Delivery Times
You may select our delivery service to most Essex locations or visit in person at our shop in Corringham, Essex, SS17 7NA to collect your order.
Orders made on the website for in-store pickup require 2 working days to prepare (stock permitting). We will contact you when your order is ready to collect.
If you opt for delivery, this will be made on the day selected at the checkout (stock permitting) between the hours of 9.00 and 3.00. We will contact you if we need to change the delivery date.
All orders are dispatched in our refrigerated vehicle.
This ensures that goods are maintained at perfect temperature during transit.
When placing your order it is important that someone is home to receive your delivery. The driver will have explicit instructions to leave your delivery at the delivery address even if no one is available, and will not take your order back to the shop as we are delivering perishable goods.
The delivery will be deemed complete once delivered to the delivery address.
3 – Collection
You may opt to collect your order in person from our shop in Corringham, Essex, SS17 7NA, in which case it will be available for collection 2 working days after order has been confirmed excluding Sundays and bank holidays.
Goods not collected on selected day will be disposed of within 48 hours and the order deemed complete. No refunds are made or offered for uncollected orders.
4 – Price
Your total price will be confirmed with your order confirmation before delivery or collection is made.

5 – Acceptable Weight Variation
When you place your order it will be for a nominal weight of produce at a specified price.
We will collect payment via the payment method you select when placing your order.
All orders are individually prepared and we will endeavour to prepare orders to the weight specified or higher at no extra cost to the customer. There is a 5% margin for weight variation on products ordered plus or minus.
6 – Out of Stock Items
You will be notified of any out of stock items with your order confirmation.
When this happens a refund for the out of stock items will be offered or alternative products offered as a substitution.
7 – Guarantee of Satisfaction
If for any reason you are not happy with the quality of any meat item received, you should contact us within 24 hours by email or phone. We will investigate immediately. Your statutory rights are not affected.
We regret that we will not accept returned goods or claims for goods ordered in error due to their perishable nature.
8 – Cancellation
Due to the short timescale involved with processing orders you cannot cancel or modify your order once confirmation has been sent.
Any refunds issued due to cancellation are subject to a 10% handling fee.
9 – Data Protection
All data we collect from you will be used exclusively for the purposes of our dealings, to help us offer improved or new services or products to you and will be stored on computer.
Your details will be stored securely, in confidence, and will never be disclosed to any third party save by order of a court.
When you shop online, you will be directed to our payment processors secure online service before you enter your credit card details. We never see your credit card or payment details and therefore cannot store or share them.
We only store your delivery and contact information.
If you give us your details we will use them for the purpose of your order, and to contact you with further offers and news unless you inform us not to. To opt out email us or contact us by telephone. We are a family run business and do not want to distress anyone with our communications.
